User Interface Developer, UI Developer/designer.
COMPANY:
A young web based "start-up" based in Kensington, London, working in the "social arena" is looking for a full or part time front end developer/designer.
We're looking for someone who is chilled out, has a good sense of humour but works hard and is eager to learn new skills.
SKILLS:
Primarily a talent in CSS/XHTML and Javascript. We strive to build everything standards compliant, cross browser compatible using valid XMTML and CSS. We use Mootools extensively along with OOP based Javascript, so familiarity with OOP conventions and Mootools is a definate bonus, but not a requirement. Familiarity with Photoshop and the ability to be able to modify and slice psd's into HTML is essential. Some Server Side PHP knowledge or a desire to be introduced to PHP and the will to learn is something we seek. The ability to prioritise and document is very important too!
You will build high quality CMS driven interfaces using the technologies mentioned above.
We operate a hands off style, so the ability to manage your own time is also very important.
