We have for years had our own internal developer on the payroll, but im now looking to outsource our work to
a third party company
We have regular database scripting work on the go and Im looking into costs to decide if its worth out
sourcing the work or taking on a member of staff, can you please look at the below brief and supply us with
your best price for doing the work.
We have 2 immediate jobs ready to take on and is needed to be ready for the first week of september. We also
have 4 other jobs lined up, so please keep in mind this will not be a one off but we would like to build a
business relationship for all future work, depending on the costs.
We have finalised the design with the client, we would need someone to take our flat design in photoshop and
code it out and also provide the backend admin area and all other database features.
We also have all the hosting in place ready to work on.

A total new bespoke design, using existing sima logo
A Forum is needed, user will be able to register and then need to be locked out until payment is received
and then an admin can approve them
We will use current content for static pages for now until client submits text changes needed.
Forthcoming events will be self update able from admin area, the events will be laid out neater and not just
a block of text – i.e.

Members will download a pdf form to fill in and send off with payment, once they have downloaded the form
they will be taken to the forum where by they can register their details and setup their account, but wont
be able to view the forum until the payment is received and an admin can activate their account.

Full search system for broker or broker service
We will use current content for static pages for now until client submits text changes needed.
Allow for as many advert places in design as possible, before spoiling overall look of the site, this will
include 1 main banner and 5 smaller banners, Adverts will be stored in the backend database and can be
changed via admin control panel. Each advert will be able to have a link to client page or direct website.
Within client pages, allow for option to upload logo and an advert that would need to be supplied in a jpg
format.
Client pages would need to present head office details, but also link to different branches.
Voting Page, this page will require the visitor to login with their registered email address that is already
held in the database, once logged in they will be able to select an award that they feel should be granted
to the available clients that are already stored in the client database. The visitor would not be able to
see the results, but they would be stored in a database for download via admin control panel as a csv file.
A Scroller news ticker would be included on homepage and updated via admin control panel
A simple link to the bbc rss feed would also be included and laid out like example design.
I hope this achievable and as long as the timescale and price is okay we are able to pay a deposit asap and
start the work with yourselves
